Van Vleuten Wins Tour de France Femmes 2022

Tour de France Femmes, the women’s version of the historic Tour de France, started a week ago, and this Sunday, Annemiek Van Vleuten (Movistar Team) was crowned the grand champion of the Tour de France Femmes 2022.

Tour de France Femmes, the women’s version of the historic Tour de France, started a week ago, and this Sunday, Annemiek Van Vleuten (Movistar Team) was crowned the grand champion of the Tour de France Femmes 2022.

Tour de France Femmes stage 8 saw Annemiek Van Vleuten (Movistar Team) winning the 123.3km final stage ahead of Demi Vollering (Team SD Worx) and Silvia Persico (Valcar – Travel & Service). 

After eight stages, Annemiek Van Vleuten (Movistar Team) won the general classification with a total time of 26:55:44. Demi Vollering (Team SD Worx) finished in second place 3:48 behind the winner, followed by Katarzyna Niewiadoma (Canyon/SRAM Racing), 6:35 behind.
