Watch the Bjursås Hill Climb live today on SC Play from 18:20 CEST
The Bjursås Hill Climb takes place today, Tuesday, August 25, and fans can follow all the action live and free on SC Play from 18:20 CEST.
Lager 157 Ski Team hosts the hometown duel in Bjursås, outside Falun, in support of Barncancerfonden (the Swedish Childhood Cancer Fund). Twenty-year-old Alvar Myhlback, the youngest-ever Vasaloppet champion who grew up in Bjursås, faces 37-year-old World Cup veteran Calle Halfvarsson, from neighboring Sågmyra, over a 7.5km double poling course. The race starts by the slalom hill in Bjursås, stays flat for the first 5.5km, then climbs steadily over the final 2km at around a 10 percent gradient to the finish in Baggbo.
On SC Play, the Bjursås Hill Climb will be broadcast live this evening, with Wsportsmedia opening the stream free of charge for everyone as part of the event’s fundraising effort for Barncancerfonden (the Swedish Childhood Cancer Fund).
