Former World Champion Maiken Caspersen Falla has signed a contract with the Norwegian Ski Association and is already working as a coach.

Maiken Caspersen Falla is now joining the coaching team of regional team Elon Innlandet. The former World Champion will be assistant coach to the team’s new head coach Karl-Gunnar Skjønsfjell.

Caspersen Falla has coach 1-3 courses, and the contract means that she will contribute to individual sessions with the team until Skjønsfjell is formally in place on August 1. After that, she will continue to work with the team on sessions and contribute as a sparring partner for athletes and coaches in the fall and winter.

“It’s going to be good, and we’ve had a great start with the new team. I’m very much looking forward to contributing on the coaching side of this exciting team,” says Caspersen Falla, according to Langrenn.com.
