Johannes Høsflot Klæbo secured first place in the men’s sprint race in freestyle technique for Norway at the Livigno Cross-Country Skiing World Cup in Italy. Results from the men’s sprint race.

Johannes Høsflot Klæbo took first place, with a total time of 2:28.38. The Norwegian cross-country skiing star was followed by Richard Jouve, from France, 0.35 seconds back.

Janik Riebli, from Switzerland, completed the podium in third place, 1.44 seconds behind the winner. 

Pål Golberg, from Norway, and Valerio Grond, from Switzerland, round of the top 5 by finishing 4th and 5th, respectively.

New this season is the exact race distances for women and men in all World Cup events, as the International Ski & Snowboard Federation (FIS) decided in May. Several other changes have also been introduced to the World Cup.

After the weekend, the World Cup continues at Les Rousses, France, from January 27 to 29, 2023.
