After the women’s skiathlon on Saturday and the men’s same event on Sunday, the third day of cross-country skiing races at the Beijing 2022 Olympics featured the sprint race in freestyle technique for women and men. 

Today, Johannes Høsflot Klæbo (NOR) and Jonna Sundling (NOR) claimed gold. Federico Pellegrino (ITA) and Maja Dahlqvist (SWE) took silver, with Alexander Terentev (ROC) and Jessie Diggins (USA) in the bronze position.
