Sprint bib favorites for Season XV
Are you curious who the favorites are for this season’s Green Sprint bib? Dive into the action with us at ProXCskiing.com as we uncover the Sprint favorites and showcase their top-speed shape.
Sprint Competition
The Green Sprint bib is worn by the female and male with the most current Sprint points before each event. There are 0-2 sprints in the events. The seven fastest women and seven fastest men split times at the sprints will get points. The overall winner is the athlete with the most sprint points after the season in each gender.
The Sprint competition is always interesting. Every year, many athletes solely focus on this category, and they pace themselves accordingly in races to be well-positioned before approaching the sprint checkpoints.
Ahead of the final Sprint checkpoints of Season XV, Amund Hoel, Team Engcon, and Emilie Fleten, Team Ramudden, are the Green Sprint bib holders with 196 and 266 points, respectively.
With only one sprint checkpoint at Reistadløpet, one at Summit 2 Senja, two at Janteloppet, and a maximum of 120 points to be distributed (according to Ski Classics Rules and Regulations Season XV), who are the favorites for the Sprint overall competition on the men’s and women’s side?
