As the Ski Classics Pro Tour season approaches, several athletes have already locked in 50 points through strong performances at various Ski Classics Challengers events.

These athletes, both women and men, have demonstrated their form ahead of the new winter season, making them key names to watch when Pro Tour Season XVII begins.

While some Pro Team athletes have won or raced multiple Challengers events, it’s important to note that Ski Classics Pro Team athletes can only count their single best Ski Classics Challengers result toward the Champion and Youth competitions.

Women’s Standings

Anikken Gjerde Alnæs of Team Engcon has enjoyed a successful late winter and summer on the Challengers circuit, with victories at the Sovereign 2 SilverStar Ski Marathon Classic on snow and Värnamorullen on roller skis — although only one of these results counts toward the Champion competition.

Alnæs is joined by Stina Nilsson of Team Ragde Charge, who won the Lofsdalen Epic in April; Sofie Elebro Lind of Team Eksjöhus, winner of Vaajmarathon; Julia Angelsiöö of Ski Team Göhlins, who took Båstad-Mölle; and Sofia Lindberg of Team Edux, winner of Nordenskiöldsloppet 2025.

Tereza Hujerová (Team Slavia Pojišťovna Robinson Trentino), Hanna Lodin (Team Engcon), Karolina Hedenström (Lager 157 Ski Team), and Sandra Schützová (Team Kaffebryggeriet DRIV) also secured 50 points after their wins at Kobberløpet, Klarälvsloppet, Tanumsloppet, and Energamo Lipnolopet, respectively.

Magni Smedås of Team Eksjöhus is back and looking ahead to the new season, even though she is still pending registration to collect Challengers points. In late August, she won the prestigious Ski Classics Challengers event Alliansloppet — a 48km roller ski race in Trollhättan, Sweden, featuring many of the world’s elite long-distance skiers.

Standings

Men’s Standings

In the men’s field, ten Pro Team athletes are tied with 50 points.

Oskar Kardin of Lager 157 Ski Team leads after his triumph at the Sovereign 2 SilverStar Ski Marathon Classic. Kasper Stadaas and Max Novak, both from Team Aker Dæhlie, also earned 50 points after victories at Kobberløpet and Båstad-Mölle, respectively. 

Johannes Eklöf of Ski Team Göhlins claimed victory at Lofsdalen Epic, Johan Hoel of Team Ragde Charge won Tana-Varangerrennet, and Thomas Bing of eD system RSJ Team took the win at Fossavatnsgangan 2025.

Miro Karppanen of Team Edux earned 50 points with his Lapponia Ski Week victory. Alvar Myhlback of Lager 157 Ski Team showed impressive summer form, winning both Alliansloppet and Klarälvsloppet (with only one result counted toward the standings). Lauri Mannila of Team Edux claimed the win at Värnamorullen, and Magnus Vesterheim of Team Ramudden closed the Autumn Classics calendar with victory at Energamo Lipnolopet.

The winter season kicks off in Bad Gastein, Austria, on December 13, 2025, with the Pro Team Tempo and ends in Finnsnes, Norway, with the Ski Classics Grand Finale Summit 2 Senja on March 29, 2026.
