The skiing pair Moa Lundgren and Gustav Kvarnbrink achieved great success at the Hyrox World Championship, setting a Swedish record and bringing home a medal.

Since the end of the season, skiers Moa Lundgren and Gustav Kvarnbrink have focused on Hyrox. Their goal was to qualify for the World Championship, which they accomplished with a strong performance in one of the qualifying events in Berlin.

On Sunday, the World Championship took place in Stockholm, Sweden, and it was a success for the duo.

Swedish record

Lundgren and Kvarnbrink finished first, but after a time penalty, they secured the silver medal in the 25-29 age group. As a cherry on top, they also set a Swedish record in the mixed category with a time of 52:03.

“WHAT A SUNNY SUNDAY!!!! 2nd @ Hyrox World Championship, but the first ones to cross the finish line!!!!” Moa Lundgren wrote on social media.
