Persson shines at Grönklitt ITT Season XVI

Emil Persson, Lager 157 Ski Team, won the 13-kilometer-long Grönklitt ITT today in Orsa Grönklitt, Sweden.

Emil Persson, Lager 157 Ski Team, won the 13-kilometer-long Grönklitt ITT today in Orsa Grönklitt, Sweden.

Emil Persson, Lager 157 Ski Team, won the Ski Classics Pro Tour event Grönklitt ITT with a solid performance. Persson completed the 9th Pro Tour stage of Ski Classics Season XVI in a total time of 32:44.3. 

Second place with a remarkable performance went to Max Novak, Team Aker Dæhlie, 13.2 seconds back – (*Update). Third place went to Torleif Syrstad, Team Engcon, 30.1 seconds behind the winner.

Amund Hoel, Team Engcon, and Axel Jutterström, Team Eksjöhus, rounded out the top 5 by finishing 4th and 5th place, respectively.

Following the initial publication of our Grönklitt ITT race report, we would like to provide an important update regarding the final results.

Max Novak, Team Aker Dæhlie, and Alvar Myhlback, Lager 157 Ski Team, have been disqualified from the race after receiving their second yellow card. As a result, Novak and Myhlback lost their points in the race, affecting their overall standing. Max Novak now drops to third place, while Alvar Myhlback is ranked 36th. Ole-Jørgen Bruvoll, Team Engcon, retains the overall lead and will start Vasaloppet wearing the Yellow bib.
