Novak and Korsgren Won Benzina Orlen Sprint

Team Ramudden Pro Tour skiers Max Novak and Lina Korsgren won the Friday evening Benzina Orlen Sprint at the Bedřichov Stadium.

It was Team Ramudden’s evening in the 1.5km double-poling sprint at the Bedřichov Ski Stadium in the Czech Republic. 

In the women’s final, Lina Korsgren managed to get a gap early in the race and won ahead of Britta Johansson Norgren, Lager 157 Ski Team, and Ida Dahl, Team Ramudden.

In the men’s final, we saw a fierce battle between Emil Persson, Lager 157 Ski Team, and Max Novak, Team Ramudden. In the end, Novak took the lead on the last lap and gave no chance to Persson on the final sprint to the line. 

Gold went to Max Novak, 0.4 seconds ahead of Emil Persson in second place. Thomas Bing, xc-ski.de A/N Skimarathon Team, completed the podium in third place, 1.6 seconds behind.

Next up in the Visma Ski Classics is Jizerská50. The 50-kilometer classic race takes place in the Czech Republic on February 13, 2022.
