Are you curious who the favorites are for this season’s Yellow Champion bib? Dive into the action with us at ProXCskiing.com as we uncover the favorites for the Ski Classics Pro Tour Season XV.

Champion Competition

The Yellow Champion bib is worn by the male and female athletes with the most current Champion points before each event. The overall winner is the athlete with the most Champion points after the season in each gender. Athletes’ single best result from a Ski Classics Challengers event is included.

The Champion competition is naturally the most prestigious in Ski Classics, and the field becomes more competitive every year. There are many favorites, but only one man and one woman can win their respective categories. One must be consistent, in great shape throughout the winter, and stay healthy until the end of the season.

Ahead of Reistadløpet, Kasper Stadaas, Team Ragde Charge, and Emilie Fleten, Team Ramudden, are the Yellow bib holders in the men’s and women’s side, with 1553 and 2065 points, respectively.

With only three Pro Tour events left and a maximum of 600 points to be distributed (according to Ski Classics Rules and Regulations Season XV), who are the favorites for the Yellow Champion overall competition?

Champion Men’s Favorites – Ski Classics Season XV

Ahead of Reistadløpet, Kasper Stadaas, Team Ragde Charg, is the Yellow Champion bib holder with 1553 points. Johan Hoel, also from Team Ragde Charge, follows closely in second place, only 1 point behind with 1552 points overall.

Andreas Nygaard, another Pro Team athlete from Team Ragde Charge, is in third place with 1300 points.

The men’s Champion competition is intense and close this season. Kasper Stadaas and Johan Joel are the biggest favorites. Still, Andreas Nygaard can have an excellent fight to collect Champion points and challenge the top 2 athletes in the battle for the Yellow overall.

Thomas Ødegaarden Johan Hoel and Axel Jutterström can have an excellent fight to collect extra Champion points and challenge Stadaas in the battle for the Yellow overall.

Closing the top 5 are Thomas Ødegaarden and Axel Jutterström, both from Team Eksjöhus, trailing a bit behind but battling for points and a top 3 final spot.
