The Roller Ski World Cup in Trollhättan had its first day this Friday with a freestyle sprint event in Sweden. Check out the senior women’s results.

Trollhättan Roller Ski World Cup – Women’s Sprint Race 

Emma Ribom, from Sweden, took first place today at the Trollhättan Roller Ski World Cup in the women’s freestyle sprint race.

Moa Hansson, from Sweden, snagged second place, and Elin Naeslund, also from Sweden, completed the podium in third place.

Trollhättan Roller Ski World Cup 

On Saturday, August 30, the 48km long-distance event in classic technique for senior women and men will take place. Alliansloppet is also part of the Ski Classics Challengers series, bringing together top Pro Team athletes and traditional cross-country skiers at the starting line. On the same day, a shorter 32km event is also scheduled for junior athletes.

Finally, on Sunday, August 31, the event will culminate with the individual start race in classic technique. Athletes will battle it out over a 15-kilometer-long course for women and men, while junior women and junior men will face a challenging 7.5-kilometer-long course.
