The 2025 FIS Roller Ski World Cup and Junior World Championships calendar has been confirmed, featuring four stages across three countries.

The 2025 FIS Roller Ski World Cup and Junior World Championships calendar has been confirmed, featuring four stages across three countries.

The International Ski & Snowboard (FIS) has already released the 2025 Roller Ski World Cup and Junior World Championships calendar. Events have been granted to Madona/Latvia, Trollhättan/Sweden, Rome/Italy and Val Di Fiemme/Italy.

According to the FIS Roller Skiing page on Facebook, the 2025 FIS Roller Ski World Cup calendar has been unveiled, featuring four exciting stages. The World Cup season kicks off in Madona, Latvia, which will also host the FIS Roller Ski Junior World Championships.

World Cup stage 2 takes place in Trollhättan, Sweden, in partnership with Trollhättan Action Week, followed by a unique World Cup in Rome, Italy, offering a spectacular course through historic landmarks.

The calendar concludes at the prestigious Fiemme World Cup, also in Italy.

Additionally, new regulations have been approved for the FIS Roller Ski Asian Cup, set to be coordinated by Kazakhstan’s Dmitriy Kolomeyets.

According to the release, all details remain subject to final FIS Council approval.

  • July 17-20, 2025 (World Cup and Junior World Championships)

Trollhättan, Sweden

  • August 29-31, 2025

Rome, Italy

  • September 16-17, 2025

Roller Ski World Cup 2024 – Overall Standings

Last year, Raimo Vigants (LAT) and Linn Sömskar (SWE) secured the overall win in the 2024 Roller Ski World Cup.

Men’s Overall 

In the men’s overall, Raimo Vigants (LAT) secured the overall win with 764 points. Matteo Tanel (ITA) finished in second place with 673 points, and Simon Karlsson (SWE) completed the top 3 with 571 points.

In the men’s sprint, Emanuele Becchis (ITA) secured the overall win with 342 points. Michele Valerio (ITA) finished in second place with 317 points, and Raimo Vigants (LAT) completed the top 3 with 270 points.

On the women’s side, Linn Sömskar (SWE) won the overall with 925 points. Another Swedish athlete, Ebba Stenman, finished in second place with 714 points. Maria Eugenia Boccardi (ITA) was third overall with 685 points.
