Sweden I wins the women’s team sprint at the Lahti World Cup

Sweden I (Jonna Sundling and Linn Svahn) secured first place in the women’s team sprint race in classic technique at the World Cup in Lahti, Finland. Results from the women’s team sprint race.

Sweden I, with Jonna Sundling and Linn Svahn, won the team sprint today at the World Cup in Lahti, with a total time of 18:51.77. Finland I, with Krista Parmakoski and Johanna Matintalo, finished in second place, 24.75 seconds behind the winners.

Germany I, with Katharina Hennig and Laura Gimmler, completed the podium in third place, 25.41 seconds back. 

Norway I (Lotta Udnes Weng and Kristine Stavås Skistad) and Norway II (Kristin Austgulen Fosnæs and Mathilde Myhrvold) rounded out the top 5 by finishing 4th and 5th, respectively.
