Norway’s Team For The Ruka World Cup

The cross-country skiing World Cup starts this weekend in Ruka, Finland. The Norwegian Team is now selected.

Ruka, Finland, is the place of this year’s World Cup premiere. The event begins on Friday, November 25, with a sprint race in classic technique. On Saturday, November 26, a 10km classic style race with individual start awaits. And on Sunday, November 27, the World Cup premiere weekend ends with a 20km pursuit race in freestyle technique. 

In a press release, the Norwegian Ski Association has named their cross-country ski team for the upcoming World Cup premiere in Ruka. Norway will start with 24 athletes. On the women’s side, Norway will start with 12 skiers. Already on the men’s side, also 12 athletes will start for the Scandinavian country.
