Johannes Høsflot Klæbo, from Norway, took first place in the men’s sprint race in freestyle technique at the cross-country World Cup in Engadin, Switzerland. Complete results from the men’s event.

Johannes Høsflot Klæbo, from Norway, showed his form and won today’s sprint race with a total time of 2:29.24.

Edvin Anger, from Sweden, snagged second place, 0.20 seconds back, and Federico Pellegrino, from Italy, completed the podium in third place, 2.07 seconds behind the winner. 

Lucas Chanavat, from France, and Valerio Grond, from Switzerland, rounded out the top 5 by finishing 4th and 5th, respectively.

After Switzerland (Engadin), the cross-country skiing World Cup heads to Italy (Cogne). Then, the World Cup heads to Sweden (Falun) in mid-February and Norway (Trondheim) for the World Championships at the end of February and beginning of March.  

After the World Championships, the World Cup ends the season with weekends in Norway (Oslo), Estonia (Tallinn), and Finland (Lahti).
