Karlsson wins the 50km race at the Holmenkollen World Cup

Frida Karlsson secured first place in the women’s 50km mass start race in classic technique for Sweden at the Holmenkollen cross-country skiing World Cup. Results from the 50km race.

Frida Karlsson, from Sweden, took first place at the Holmenkollen 50km race in classic technique with a total time of 2:20:20.3. The Swedish cross-country skier was followed by Ebba Andersson, also from Sweden, 1:19.3 back.

Katharina Hennig, from Germany, completed the podium in third place, 1:25:2 behind the winner. 

Teresa Stadlober, from Austria, and Kerttu Niskanen, from Finland, rounded out the top 5 by finishing 4th and 5th, respectively.
