The Roller Ski World Championships concluded this Sunday in Madona, Latvia, with 20km mass start freestyle races for senior men and senior women.

Madona Roller Ski World Championships: 20km senior men’s race 

Raimo Vigants (LAT) took home first place in the senior men’s 20km mass start freestyle race, crossing the line in a total time of 45:24.6. 

Simon Karlsson (SWE) snagged second place, 0.5 seconds back, and Thomas Bing (GER) completed the podium in third place, 1.3 seconds behind the winner.

Madona Roller Ski World Championships: 20km senior women’s race 

Ragnhild Aarekol (NOR) took first place in the senior women’s 20km mass start freestyle race with a total time of 50:23.8. 

Magdalena Kobielusz (POL) snagged second place, 2.2 seconds behind the winner, and Maria Eugenia Boccardi (ITA) completed the podium in third place, 2.9 seconds back.
