Watch Ski Classics stars in tomorrow’s Orlen Sprint!
Friday evening, the Orlen Sprint takes place at the Bedřichov Ski Stadium. The traditional sprint is part of the Jizerská50 program and will be broadcast live on SC Play from 17:55 CET.
Several of the Best Ski Classics Pro Team Athletes are on the Start List
In the starting field, we find Yellow bib holder Emilie Fleten from Team Ramudden, Team Engcon skiers Anikken Gjerd Alnæs and Hanna Lodin, Hedda Bångman from eD system Vltava Fund Team, the Czech Pro Team athlete Tereza Hujerová representing Team Robinson Trentino and from Lager 157 Ski Team you find Karolina Hedenström and Jenny Larsson, among many other Ski Classics stars.
In the men’s field, Lager 157 Ski Team skiers Emil Persson, Alvar Myhlback, Oskar Kardin, Marcus Johansson, and Nils Dahlstein will battle against, for example, Thomas Bing and Aleš Bohatý, eD system Vltava Fund Team. Ole Jørgen Bruvoll, Eddie Edström, Amund Hoel, Anton Elvseth, and Johan Tjelle from Team Engcon will also be on the start line. From Team Ramudden you will find Thomas Joly, Herman Paus and Amund Riege. The Green bib holder Vebjørn Moen from Team Eksjöhus will also compete in the Orlen Sprint. Petter Northug Jr., Team Burger King Northug, is another name on the start list, along with many other skiers.
- In the Qualify, skiers start individually, with intervals of 15 seconds.
- The top 12 competitors from the Qualify advance to the semi-finals, divided into two groups of six.
- The three skiers from each semi-final group advance to the finals.

The Orlen Sprint is a double poling sprint race in Bedřichov, Czech Republic. The total prize money is CZK400.000 (approximately €16.000).

Ski Classics Pro Tour Season XVI (2024/2025)
Next up is Jizerská50 on Sunday, February 9, 2025. The 50-kilometer classic race marks the seventh Ski Classics Pro Tour stage and Season XVI’s second Grand Classics event.
Season XVI of the Ski Classics Pro Tour consists of 14 events across 10 event weekends in 6 countries. It started in Bad Gastein, Austria, on December 13, 2024, with the Pro Team Presentation and ends in Finnsnes, Norway, with the Ski Classics Grand Finale Summit 2 Senja on March 30, 2025.
