Ski Classics, the long-distance ski championship, has seen a significant increase in media reach in the last years in its top three markets: Sweden, Norway, and Czech Republic.

According to the latest figures from the current and past Ski Classics seasons, the TV reach per event in the three top markets has increased in Sweden, Norway, and the Czech Republic by 13.2% between Season XII and Season XIV.

Specifically, the TV reach per event in Sweden has increased from 1.052.143 to 1.139.316, in Norway from 399.643 to 477.833, and in the Czech Republic from 285.976 to 350.051 per event.

“Seeing the media reach increase is a good receipt that the interest for the tour Ski Classics, our Pro Tour and Challenger events, Pro Teams, and their athletes are growing. We are very proud and humble that over 2 million people follow each Pro Tour event, and in total, so far, with two events still to go, 26 million total viewers this season. Hopefully, all of them also put on their skis and enjoy our great sport, and we challenge them to join us next winter in at least one Ski Classics event,” says David Nilsson, CEO Ski Classics, and continues:

“We are very proud that all Ski Classics weekends are also open for recreational skiers, creating a great health movement for men and women, recreational as well as elite skiers!”

Next up is Reistadløpet on April 1 and Summit 2 Senja on April 2. The events mark the 13th and 14th Ski Classics stages and the final weekend of Season XIV.

The Season XIV of Ski Classics Pro Tour consists of 14 events on 10 event weekends in 6 different countries.
