by Leandro Lutz • 26.10.2022
Orsa Grönklitt welcomes Pro Teams and their athletes as the Ski Classics heads to Sweden, with events 9 and 10, in another two Pro Tour events weekend, Grönklitt Criterium and Grönklitt ITT – Individual Time Trial.

After eight stages, the Ski Classics Pro Tour starts its final part of the season in the same venue where the Prologue weekend was held in Season XII.

On Saturday, February 18, the weekend starts with the Grönklitt Criterium. The ninth event in Season XIV is a 50-kilometer long-distance race offering stunning scenery. The Grönklitt Criterium is a mass-start race that will feature several laps and a challenging course.

A Cross-Country Skiing Paradise

Orsa Grönklitt is located about 30 kilometers north of Mora, the finish town of Vasaloppet. It is a popular winter sports resort with well-groomed cross-country ski tracks through beautiful forests and downhill slopes of all difficulty levels.

Moreover, visitors have a chance to ski next to Polar bears, tigers, or some of the other non-hibernating predators in the “Orsa Bear Park.” In the summer, one can enjoy the beauty of nature by trail running, mountain biking, paddling on Rädsjön, and just relaxing in the middle of the Swedish wonderland.
