Pro Team favorites after Marcialonga Season XV
Marcialonga marked the seventh Ski Classics Pro Tour and the first Grand Classics event, and now the Ski Classics Season XV is halfway through. ProXCskiing reviews the favorites for the various overall competitions, and today, you can find out who the Pro Team favorites are.
The Pro Team competition is determined by the total number of Pro Team points, and Pro Team Sprint points after the season. Pro Team points are distributed at each Pro Tour event based on the Pro Team’s collected Champion points from the Pro Team’s best two male athletes and best two female athletes, the total Sprint and Climb points collected by the team, 50% of the Youth points of the best female and male athlete in the team and 50% of the Champion points of the best athlete from an emerging country.
The Pro Team competition is highly fierce this season. Several teams can claim the title of the “Best Pro Team” in Ski Classics. However, there may be some chances in the top ranking after this season. Only time will tell!
After Marcialonga, Team Eksjöhus leads the Pro Team competition with 1360 points. Now, who are the favorites for the Pro Team competition Season XV?

After Marcialonga, Team Eksjöhus leads the Pro Team Competition with 1360 points, followed by Team Engcon with 1100 points. Team Ramudden sits in third place overall with 1080 points after the seventh Pro Tour event, Season XV.
The Pro Team competition is intense this winter. The top 3 Pro Teams in the ranking are the biggest favorites and are having a close fight overall, closely followed by Team Ragde Charge in fourth place and 1060 points.
Team Eksjöhus is adding more points to the Pro Team ranking, with 1360 points. During Season XV, Team Eksjöhus had 360 points after the Bad Gastein weekend, 400 points at the La Venosta weekend, 200 points at the 3 Zinnen Ski Marathon, 200 at Engadin La Diagonela, and 200 points at Marcialonga.
Team Engcon has 1100 points so far: 360 points from the Bad Gastein weekend, 360 points from the La Venosta weekend, 140 points from the 3 Zinnen Ski Marathon, 120 from Engadin La Diagonela, and 120 points from Marcialonga.

The three Pro Teams will likely be on the top of the list at the end of Season XV.
The current number one Pro Team, Team Eksjöhus, is doing strong with great skiers on the squad like Magni Smedås, Kati Roivas, Sofie Elebro, Thomas Ødegaarden, Axel Jutterström, and Morten Eide Pedersen, who can get many crucial points in their respective categories.
Team Engcon is the second-best Pro Team at the moment. They have the Ski Classics Legend Ida Dahl, while Hanna Lodin and Tove Ericsson support her the best they can. Dahl is one of the candidates to win the Champion competition (currently in 3rd place). She is in third place at the Sprint competition, and at the Climb competition overall, she is in 2nd place. The Pro Team athlete Amund Hoel leads the Sprint competition, while Ole Jørgen Bruvoll is top 10 at the Champion bib overall.
Team Ramudden is currently ranked as the third-best Pro Team with a powerful Pro Team that can challenge the two mentioned squads above. If every team member performs at their best, this team will crush the field during the final part of the season.
Team Ragde Charge is currently ranked as the fourth-best Pro Team, and they crave to be back on top and will go for it with all guns blazing during the second part of Season XV.
These are the Pro Teams with the best chances of winning this category. Lager 157 Ski Team could be a dark horse, but winning will depend on the form of Emil Persson and Karolina Hedenström. The Pro Team has great skiers like Runar Skaug Mathisen, Oskar Kardin, and Alvar Myhlback, who can get many needed points in their respective categories.
Many factors can affect a team’s performance throughout the season, and it is not easy to predict the outcome of this competition. But if an order needs to be established, it is as follows:
