Tiera Taivalkoski – Syöte Challenger, a Ski Classics Challengers event in Finland, took place this Sunday, with a 40km roller ski race in classic technique in Taivalkoski. Get to know the results.

After a day full of action, the Ski Classics Challengers event, Tiera Taivalkoski – Syöte Challenger, saw Maija Tiainen, AT Ski Team, and Ari Luusua, Tampereen Yritys, winning their respective races.

Women’s event

In the women’s competition, the winner was Maija Tiainen, AT Ski Team, with a total time of 1:56:24.9. 

Emmi Lämsä, AT Ski Team, finished in second place, 30.4 seconds back, followed by Ella Noora Haapalehto, Pohti SkiTeam Pyhäjärvi, 2:05.1 behind the winner, and completing the podium in the third position.

Men’s event

In the men’s race, the winner was Ari Luusua, Tampereen Yritys, completing the race in a time of 1:36:40.7.

Lauri Mannila, Team Edux/Taivalkosken Metsä-Veikot 85, finished in second place, 7.5 seconds back, followed by Niko Husu, Team Vuokatti Ski Team Kainuu, completing the podium in third position and 26.9 seconds behind the winner.
