Peter Lingmerth joins W sportsmedia as COO

W sportsmedia welcomes Swedish executive veteran Peter Lingmerth as its new Chief Operating Officer (COO).

Peter Lingmerth

Peter Lingmerth’s impressive track record within the media, events, and management sectors makes him an ideal fit for the rapidly expanding sports business firm. The announcement comes after his successful four-year tenure within the Bonnier News organization as CEO of the Real Estate division managing the industry magazine Fastighetsnytt and Byggindustrin, as well as the leading real estate event in the Nordics, Business Arena.

David Nilsson, CEO of W Sportsmedia, expressed his optimism about Lingmerth’s appointment, noting:

Peter has experience from leading positions in event, news, and media companies; he also has a vast experience in sport management and sales. In addition, Peter is a passionate cross-country skier, important for working with and understanding our Ski Classics project. We believe Peter is a very good fit for the COO role, in which he will focus on W sportsmedia reaching its potential within current and new projects further on.”

Lingmerth’s anticipation for his new role is palpable as he looks forward to integrating his expertise with W sportsmedia’s dynamic team and forward-thinking projects:

“I am really looking forward to joining the team at W sportsmedia and Ski Classics. All colleagues at W sportsmedia are very passionate and dedicated, and I am convinced and look forward to learning a lot from them going forward! With my background, previous roles, experience, and professional network, I hope to contribute to W sportsmedia’s future development and growth. Having the opportunity to work with something that is part of your private passion is a privilege,” says Peter Lingmerth.
