Alvar Myhlback, Lager 157 Ski Team, won the 90-kilometer-long Vasaloppet today from Sälen to Mora, Sweden. The Pro Team athlete makes history by winning the 101st edition of the legendary event at only 18 years of age and his first-ever Ski Classics Pro Tour win.

Alvar Myhlback, Lager 157 Ski Team, won the 90-kilometer-long Vasaloppet today from Sälen to Mora, Sweden. The Pro Team athlete makes history by winning the 101st edition of the legendary event at only 18 years of age and his first-ever Ski Classics Pro Tour win.

Alvar Myhlback, Lager 157 Ski Team, won the Ski Classics event Vasaloppet with a powerful sprint. Myhlback completed the tenth stage of Ski Classics Season XVI and another Grand Classics event in a total time of 3:28:45.7. 

Second place, after a tight fight to the line, went to Emil Persson, Lager 157 Ski Team, 0.8 seconds back. A remarkable performance from Max Novak, Team Aker Dæhlie, granted him the third position on the podium, 1.7 seconds behind the winner.

Season XVI of the Ski Classics Pro Tour consists of 14 events across 10 event weekends in 6 countries. It started in Bad Gastein, Austria, on December 13, 2024, with the Pro Team Presentation and ends in Finnsnes, Norway, with the Ski Classics Grand Finale Summit 2 Senja on March 30, 2025.
