Emil Persson Still Leading The SC Ranking After Vasaloppet

After Vasaloppet last Sunday, there have been many changes in the SC Ranking but Emil Persson, Lager 157 Ski Team, keeps the lead with 25,224,641 points.

Emil Persson (Lager 157 Ski Team) leads the SC Ranking after Vasaloppet.

In the SC Ranking, the global ranking system for long-distance cross-country skiers, Persson is now followed by Ida Dahl, Team Ramudden, who moved from third to second position with 24,839,273 points. Lina Korsgren, Team Ramudden, dropped from second to the fourth position, with 24,484,047 points. 

Five Pro Tour skiers are moving up among the top ten athletes. Tord Asle Gjerdalen, Team XPND Fuel, moved from fourth to third place, with 24,519,540 points. Andreas Nygaard, Team Ragde Charge, from seventh to sixth place, with 23,886,989 points; Max Novak, Team Ramudden, from ninth to eighth place, with 23,420,148 points; Morten Eide Pedersen, Team Eksjöhus, from tenth to ninth place, with 23,402,906 points; and, Ermil Vokuev, Russian Winter Team, from eleventh to tenth place, with 23,155,152 points.

In the top 20, Britta Johansson Norgren, Lager 157 Ski Team, climbs from 12th to 11th; Herman Paus, Team Ramudden, from 19th to 16th; and Runar Skaug Mathisen, Lager 157 Ski Team, moves from 18th to 17th position. 

Among the Top 50 taking significant steps after Vasaloppet Kasper Stadaasa, Team Ragde Charge, going from 29th to 22nd place; Jiři Pliska, Ed System Silvini Team, from 25th to 24th; Thomas Ødegaarden, Team XPND Fuel, from 28th to 27th; Jan Šrail, Vltava Fund Ski Team, from 30th to 29th; Johan Hoel, Team Ragde Charge, from 49th to 32nd; Eddie Edström, Lager 157 Ski Team, from 43rd to 34th; Mauro Brigadoi, Team Internorm-Trentino-Zorzi Max By SZ, from 48th to 37th; Torgeir Sulen Hovland, Team Engcon, from 51st to 38th; and Francesco Ferrari, Team Internorm-Trentino-Zorzi Max By SZ, from 50th to 49th position.

In the top 100, Pro Tour skiers moving up ten or more positions: Astrid Øyre Slind, Team Koteng Eidissen, from 76th to 61st position, after her Vasaloppet victory; Amund Riege, Team Rustad IL Oslo, from 84th to 67th; Christina Lorenzi, Team Internorm-Trentino-Zorzi Max By SZ; Haakon Holden, Team Næringsbanken, from 95th to 84th; Chris Andre Jespersen, Team Koteng Eidissen, from 112th to 94th; and Patrick Fossum Kristoffersen, Team Robinson Trentino, from 108th to 95th.  

Outside the top 100, taking a big step up, we can see Mikael Gunnulfsen, Team Koteng Eidissen, from 133rd to 110th; Asmund Heir, Team Straye Waterwell, from 150th to 129th; Joel Andersson, from 138th to 159th; Josua Struebel, Endless Local Nordic Team, from 165th to 142nd; Thomas Bing, from 181st to 150th; Eric Rosjö, Team Eksjöhus, from 201st to 160th; and Olli Tyrväinen, Team Edux, from 188th to 168th place. 

Marit Bjørgen, Team Ragde Charge, is moving from 206th to 170th; Henri Roos, Team Nordic Jobs Worldwide, from 214th to 178th; Malin Börjesjö, Team Internorm-Trentino-Zorzi Max By SZ, from 207th to 185th; Emanuele Bosin, Team Futura Trentino Alta Quota, from 235th to 194th; and Benjamin Selter, from 224th to 197th position.

Another considerable improvement comes from Thomas Bucher-Johannessen, Team Koteng Eidissen, from 314th to 214th; Eivind Vold, from 353rd to 231st; Stefano Dal Magro, from 356th to 246th; Jonatan Steen, from 359th to 248th; Ragnar Hellsvik, from 421st to 289th; and Ola Jordheim, from 541st to 296th position.

Also, significant improvements from Lucas Lennartsson, from 805th to 358th; Tomáš Kalivoda, Vltava Fund Ski Team, from 759th to 379th; Filip Danielsson, from 1725th to 391st; Anna Schmidhofer, Ski-Willy Marathon Team Austria, from 626th to 393rd; and Hakan Emilsson, from 856th to 394th position. 

Everyone participating in Visma Ski Classics, Pro Tour or Challengers events, recreational and Pro Tour skiers can connect their profile to the Visma Ski Classics results database, called MyPages.

MyPages can be connected when registering as a member to Visma Ski Classics online community ProXCskiing.com.
