Challengers Alutaguse Maraton Takes Place In Estonia This Saturday

A new weekend is approaching with a Pro Tour event, Jizerská50, and three Ski Classics Challengers events. Alutaguse Maraton in Estonia, Bessemerloppet in Sweden, and La Transjurassienne in France. Get to know the details of Alutaguse Maraton.

The Ski Classics Challengers event Alutaguse Maraton is a 43km long-distance race in classic technique this Saturday, February 11, in Vasavere, Estonia.

Alutaguse Maraton has long-lasting traditions and is one of the largest cross-country skiing events in the Baltics. Every year, skiers worldwide come to the Alutaguse National Park’s beautiful surroundings in Vasavere to participate in the Alutaguse Maraton.

Alutaguse Maraton is a two-day event, and in addition to the 43km main race, there is also a 22km night ski event in free technique on Friday and a 22km classic and kids races on Saturday.

Alutaguse Maraton – Ski Classics Challengers Event

As Alutaguse Maraton is a Ski Classics Challengers event, Pro Team registered athletes can collect points for the Ski Classics Champion and Youth competitions in their respective gender. 

You can find a list of Ski Classics Challengers events with confirmed dates for season 2022/2023 at Ski Classics. The list is updated continuously with new events.

Everyone participating in Ski Classics, Pro Tour or Challengers events, professional and recreational skiers, can connect their profile to the results database of Ski Classics, called MyPages.

MyPages can be connected when subscribing to Ski Classics online community proxcskiing.com. In the profile, you can view your Ski Classics event results, collect pins, print diplomas, and analyze your results with friends in the SC ranking system. In your profile, you collect points according to your performance and are rewarded with pins and diplomas.

One of the central features of MyPages is that you get your global SC ranking. The SC Ranking is a live updated international ranking, unique in combining women and men, professional and recreational skiers in one single list.
