The Ski Classics Challengers event, OnePartnerGroup Ski Marathon Östersund, took place this Sunday with a 42km long-distance race in classic technique in Östersund, Sweden.

After a day full of action, the Ski Classics Challengers event in Sweden saw Joel Andersson, Team Eksjöhus/IFK Mora SK, and Hedda Bångman, Team Nordic Expérience/Offerdals SK, winning the race with solid performances.

Men’s Race

In the men’s race, the winner Joel Andersson, Team Eksjöhus/IFK Mora SK, completed the race in a time of 2:10:25.0.

Olof Jonsson, Trillevallens Sportklubb, finished in second place, with a total time of 2:10:25.3, followed by Gabriel Söderqvist, Trillevallens Sportklubb, completing the podium in the third position and a total time of 2:10:46.3.

Women’s Race

In the women’s competition, the winner was Hedda Bångman, Team Nordic Expérience/Offerdals SK, with a total time of 2:20:05.5. 

Alva Svahn, Östersunds SK, finished in second place, with a time of 2:29:35.6, followed by Emma Jonsson, Östersunds SK, with a total time of 2:37:57.1, and completing the podium in the third position.
