Biathlon World Cup: Eric Perrot wins 15km mass start in Kontiolahti

The biathlon World Cup season 2024/2025 continued today in Kontiolahti, Finland, with the 15km mass start race. After a solid battle in the men’s event, the Frenchman Eric Perrot won the race.

The biathlon World Cup season 2024/2025 continued today in Kontiolahti, Finland, with the 15km mass start race. After a solid battle in the men’s event, the Frenchman Eric Perrot won the race.

Eric Perrot, from France, took first place today at the men’s 15km mass start race in Kontiolahti with a total time of 37:12.9 and one missed shot (0-1-0-0).

Quentin Fillon Maillet, also from France, snagged second place, 9.1 seconds back and three missed shots (1-1-1-0). Sturla Holm Lægreid, from Norway, completed the podium in third place, 11.5 seconds behind the winner and two misses (0-1-0-1).

After Kontiolahti (Finland), the biathlon World Cup heads to Hochfilzen (Austria), then Annecy – Le Grand Bornand (France), Oberhof (Germany), Ruhpoldhing (Germany), Antholz-Anterselva (Italy), Lenzerheide (Switzerland) for the World Championships, Nove Mesto Na Morave (Czech Republic), and Pokljuka (Slovenia). Then, the 2024/2025 World Cup season ends in Oslo (Norway).
