The Slovenian Ski Association has announced the traditional cross-country skiers selected for the Slovenian national teams for the 2025/2026 season. 

The Slovenian Ski Association has announced the traditional cross-country skiers selected for the Slovenian national teams for the 2025/2026 season. 

According to a press release from the Slovenian Ski Association, Norwegian coach Ola Vigen Hattestad will remain the head coach of Slovenia’s top national team, which will include six male athletes and two female athletes.

Ola Vigen Hattestad will continue to be assisted by Nejc Brodar, with Desiree Aljec remaining as the team’s physiotherapist. In the A team, Eva Urevc (ŠD Gorje) and Anja Mandeljc (TSK Triglav Kranj) are joined by Miha Šimenc (TSK Logatec), Nejc Štern (ŠD Oktan), and Vili Črv (ND Rateče – Planica).

Miha Ličef (ŠD Gorje), Anže Gros (SKIKE club Slovenija), and Valerii Gontar (NŠD Medvode) are part of the B team, which also trains under the leadership of Hattestad.

The U23 national team will be led by Rok Grilc, while the U20 junior team will be overseen by Anže Obreza.
