V1 is the climbing gear of skate skiing – ideal for steep hills where the pace slows and the effort increases. In this video, our instructors demonstrate how to use short, powerful pole pushes, active hips, and good balance to achieve efficient uphill propulsion. The video is part of our freestyle roller skiing technique series.
