RUNNING TRAINING: Fartlek – run by feel
Between tough interval sessions, it’s sometimes important to incorporate easier workouts. Fartlek is one of the most enjoyable ways to do this.
Fartlek is exactly what it sounds like. Run by feel in the woods, let the terrain guide you, and keep the intensity low throughout the session. This is running at its simplest and most enjoyable, and your body will thank you for it. It’s a perfect workout to do between demanding training days.
