Team Rustad IL Oslo continues carrying the legacy of one of Norway’s most prestigious ski clubs onto the Ski Classics stage, with six athletes returning and three new faces for Season XVIII.

Rustad IL, based in Oslo, is steeped in Olympic and World Championship history. The club is one of the biggest in Norway, with a large training group offering both junior and senior athletes a serious pathway in the sport. Team Rustad IL Oslo in Ski Classics is the club’s dedicated offer for athletes who want to focus on long-distance skiing.

Six athletes continue from last season: Henrik Vik Tolo, Stefano Zanotto, Olav Adelsten Kildal, Eva Helene Andberg, Ingeborg Rystad, and Magnus Christian Haustreis.

Three new athletes join for Season XVIII: Iver Tildheim Andersen, Markus Arfvedahl, and Irja Lie Haug, who competes in the Vet category.

The biggest name among the newcomers is Rustad IL’s own Iver Tildheim Andersen, a two-time FIS World Cup winner. After leaving the Norwegian national team this spring, he has combined cycling and skiing, with the 50km at the 2027 World Championships in Falun as his big goal. Will he now make the switch to Ski Classics?
