The Swedish national cross-country skiers will start the first training camp of the dryland season on Monday. The training camp schedule for the coming months is now presented.

Just like last year, the men’s cross-country skiers from the Swedish A-National Team and Team Bauhaus will gather from May 27 to 30 for their first training camp of the season. They will start a long journey from Ängelholm to Ulricehamn, Sweden, on Monday. The 316km route will be completed in four days, all on roller skis and by running.

“We tried this concept last year, and it turned out very well. Appreciated both by the skiers, but also by everyone who follows us. It was a fun move, and we are eager to try it again – but now in a new place,” says Lars Ljung, men’s coach for the Swedish national cross-country team, in a press release from the Swedish Ski Association.

During Summer, there will also be a four-day camp in the World Championships’ city of Trondheim, Norway, in connection with Toppidrettsveka.
