Sickness in Trondheim World Championships – moving home
After Calle Halfvarsson’s withdrawal due to a cold, illnesses continue to affect the World Championships. Several athletes have been replaced ahead of today’s relay, and even Great Britain’s team has been affected by an outbreak within the group.
Suspected Sickness in Trondheim
There is suspected sickness in Trondheim. Calle Halfvarsson threw in the towel at the last minute before the team sprint due to cold symptoms. Last night, the national team announced that he left the World Championships. Linn Svahn broke off from the championships before the party even started due to a concussion. More withdrawals are expected before this World Championship is over, at least judging by the changes national teams have made ahead of today’s relay.

Musgrave, who usually lives in Trondheim, has now fled the area. To avoid getting infected, he left the other participants from Great Britain and returned home.
According to sources from Langd.se, the outbreak of stomach flu occurred at one of the hotels, prompting “Muzzie” to take drastic measures.
