Klæbo Wins The Men’s Sprint At The Ruka World Cup

Johannes Høsflot Klæbo dominated the men’s sprint race for Norway with superior performance at the Ruka Cross-Country Skiing World Cup in Finland. Results from the men’s sprint classic.

Hat trick for Norway as the country took all podium places in today’s sprint race. Johannes Høsflot Klæbo showed a strong performance all day and took home first place at the Ruka World Cup. Even Northug snagged second place, 1.66 seconds behind Klæbo.

Pål Golberg completed the podium in third place, 1.94 seconds behind the winner.

New this season is the same race distances for women and men in all World Cup events, as the International Ski & Snowboard Federation (FIS) decided in May. Several other changes have also been introduced to the World Cup.
