Swedish cross-country skier Anna Dyvik will not race the World Cup in Falun this weekend.

Many probably missed Anna Dyvik in the Swedish squad for the World Cup final in Falun, Sweden. The reason is that on Sunday, Dyvik tested positive for Covid-19 on several quick tests.

“It’s super boring not to be able to compete at home,” says Dyvik in a press release from the Swedish Ski Association.

Anna Dyvik showed great form when she finished 5th place in the classic sprint at the Drammen World Cup last Thursday and was looking forward to racing at her home World Cup.

“I was really looking forward to skiing hard in front of our home crowd. Instead, I will stay at home. It feels sad,” concludes Dyvik.
