Ski Classics Season XVII: Cub competition
The Ski Classics World Championship Season XVII concluded with the Grand Finale Summit 2 Senja, and the final standings in the Cub competition are confirmed.
The Cub category includes athletes aged 23 or younger, with the overall winner determined by the highest number of points in the Ski Classics Champion standings, regardless of gender.

Alvar Myhlback, Lager 157 Ski Team, finished the season with 2151 points, clearly ahead of his closest challengers. Bruno Dettmann, The Youth Team, secured second place with 1126 points, while Giacomo Ponti, Team Futura GTE Trentino, completed the podium in third place with 734 points.
On the women’s side, Anja Stolpe, The Youth Team, was the strongest Cub athlete, finishing with 1734 points. Suzette Christin, Team Nordic Expérience/Coste – Fromagerie Marcel Petite, claimed second place with 808 points, followed by Ella Noora Haapalento, Team Edux, in third place with 504 points.
Despite strong performances in both categories, only one Cub bib is awarded to the highest-ranked athlete overall. With his 2151 points, Alvar Myhlback secured the Cub title for Season XVII.
The result highlights Myhlback’s outstanding season, in which he consistently performed at a high level across the Pro Tour and established himself as one of the most promising young athletes in Ski Classics.
