In an official statement, Team Nordic Jobs Worldwide revealed its decision to undergo a significant transformation for the upcoming winter season. The Pro Team, which concluded Season XIV as the 31st best-ranked team with 200 points, will adopt a new name and branding as it gears up for the Ski Classics Season XV.

Expressing gratitude for the remarkable journey, Pro Team Director Mart Kevin Põllluste stated, “After three amazing years of racing and managing the team, all good things come to an end. I want to thank all the athletes, staff, sponsors, fans, and individuals who have supported us throughout the years.” Põllluste continued, sharing his sentiments through the press release and Instagram account.

Reflecting on their beginning as a Pro Team in the Ski Classics circuit, Põllluste remarked:

“We started as a totally new team in Ski Classics and developed ourselves as a strong presence already within the first year. Being nominated amongst the best four Pro Team Directors was a great honor.”

The Pro Team Director took a moment to acknowledge the pivotal role played by the Nordic Jobs Worldwide family, saying:

“I want to especially thank the @nordicjobsworldwide family that took the initiative and started this whole journey. Could not have done it without them, so thank you, @rickardfritjofsson and Björn, for the amazing support! Also, all the other companies that helped us over the years – Holm Bank, Evecon, Pakendikeskus, Skiwax, Trimtex, Impulsestore, A-Pellet, Ironman Estonia, Spordipood Duncan, Maakapital, and a lot of others. Thank you!”

Team Nordic Jobs Worldwide has enjoyed a series of impressive accomplishments throughout its existence. Põllluste highlighted their triumphs, saying:

“We have achieved a lot, winning Tartu Marathon twice, in 2021 and 2023, and being close to the top 10 in the Pro Team rankings. Most importantly, helping skiers achieve their dreams, giving them the opportunity to race against the best of the World.”

Looking ahead, Põllluste shed light on the Pro Team’s future, stating:

“I know that we have left a mark on the whole Ski Classics community, and for sure, we have helped grow skiing in Estonia! The journey for the athletes and me as a Team Director continues but with a new name and brand. In the next year’s Ski Classics season, you will see a new Estonia team racing – Team Fikala Evecon @fikalaofficial. A community project that we are building to make Estonian skiing even bigger. Come and join us on this path!”

As the Pro Team embraces its new identity, stay tuned for further updates and be part of Team Fikala Evecon’s quest to make Estonian skiing an even greater force to be reckoned with.
