Beitostølen in the middle of Southern Norway has become a traditional cross-country ski season opening event in the land of fjords. The best Nordic skiers of the country get together to see who is who in the early part of the winter season. This year is no exception, and a great number of Visma Ski Classics Pro Tour athletes are going to be part of the games this weekend.

Emilie Fleten and Astrid Øyre Slind have both registered for the 10 km skating and classics races, and in the men’s field, there are many strong long distance skiers fighting against traditional skiers. Morten Eide Pedersen, Kasper Stadaas and Vetle Thyli have signed in for both the 15 km classic and skating races while Thomas Gifstad, Tord Asle Gjerdalen, Chris Andre Jespersen, Petter Soleng Skinstad, Mårten Solen Skinstad and Joar Thele are going to race in the 15 km classic one.

Beitostølen will take place this weekend on November 19-21. You can check out the start lists on our affiliate site Langrenn.com: https://www.langrenn.com/paameldingslister-beitosprinten-2021.6422213-1743.html
