Jenny Larsson sets a new World Record
The Ski Classics Pro Team, Team Ragde Charge, is on a training camp in Norway this week. Last season, Jenny Larsson successfully returned to the tracks after battling through injury and showed her talent and relentless spirit throughout Season XIV.
Last year, in September, the rehabilitation process after the hand operation had progressed well, and she could roller ski again. The return to Ski Classics offered a strong start but a tough end to the winter season.

Now, Larsson started the preparations for the coming winter at a completely different level than she was a year ago. This is shown, for example, by the World Record she set on Wednesday. The record was set during Team Ragde Charge’s training camp in Norway.
Larsson “ran” the 5,000 meters in the SkiErg in a total time of 18:32.6:
“My goal was to improve the 19:00 I had last spring. But when I had reached halfway, the guys in the team, who are number geeks and who had looked up the previous World Record, started to push me and tell me that I had a chance to beat it,” says Larsson to Lang.se.
How was the feeling during the record break?
“It was difficult. But I had managed my power well and had positive split times, which is something I can pat myself on the back for. Then I knew that, above all, the last 1,500 meters were hard. They always are,” says record holder Larsson, who was out at an activity with some of the team’s sponsors on Friday.
A more extended interview with Jenny Larsson, Team Ragde Charge, about last season and the upcoming one will soon be available here at ProXCskiing.com next week.
