Top contenders for the 3 Zinnen Ski Marathon
3 Zinnen Ski Marathon – Women: Consistency, Pace-Setting, and Technical Expertise
Emilie Fleten, Team Ramudden: Emilie Fleten’s consistent performances across various distances make her a top favorite. With a recent podium finish and a victory during the Bad Gastein weekend, the Norwegian Pro Team athlete has demonstrated her readiness to be at the top spot. Her ability to handle pressure and maintain steady performances will likely play in her favor.
She is the current Yellow Champion bib competition leader, so we hope to see her again at the podium this weekend.
Stina Nilsson, Team Ragde Charge: Stina Nilsson secured her spot at the podium, being in 3rd place at the Bad Gastein Criterium, which makes her a good fit for this weekend’s 3 Zinnen Ski Marathon. Bad Gastein Criterium was her first long-distance Pro Tour event, so she will probably show us her full potential from now on.
Kati Roivas, Team Eksjöhus: A rising star who finished 2nd overall last season, Roivas is well-suited to the challenges presented by the 3 Zinnen Ski Marathon. Bad Gastein was not her best performance, but we trust she will be in great shape for this race in Italy.
Magni Smedås, Team Eksjöhus: After being sick in the last race in Bad Gastein, she got 2nd place at the ITT event. During the Ski Classics Live Sessions this week, she said she is in better shape, so we believe we will see her at the top.

3 Zinnen Ski Marathon – Men: A Blend of Endurance, Speed, and Tactical Mastery
Emil Persson, Lager 157 Ski Team: Positioning in 2nd place at the Bad Gastein Criterium last December and 3rd place in the Yellow Champion bib competition, Emil Persson says he is “a little bit better and in good shape.” He reinforced: “I was really happy to have both the shape, the head, and the skis to help me stay on the podium for the Criterium race.” Emil looks strong, so we hope to see him again on the podium this weekend.
Amund Riege, Team Ramudden: Amund Riege has shown his resilience and strong performance during the last races. After finishing 3rd at the Bad Gastein ITT and winning the Bad Gastein Criterium race, he is currently in the lead of the Yellow Champion bib competition. He said: “Bad Gastein was a good start for me. Gave me confidence.” Amund Riege is consistent, and the distance (60km) suits his capabilities.
Thomas Ødegaarden, Team Eksjöhus: With a wealth of experience in long-distance events, Ødegaarden combines technical expertise with a well-paced strategy. His ability to maintain a powerful rhythm across varied terrain and use his endurance to outlast opponents makes him a serious contender for the win. Ødegaarden finished Bad Gastein Criterium in the 5th position, showing that he is beginning the season in good shape.
Axel Jutterström, Team Eksjöhus: Axel Jutterström got 3rd place in the Bad Gastein Criterium and is 2nd overall, and after the Christmas break, he says he has been training well. His confidence is at the top: “This race suits me quite well. Bad Gastein was flat; this is uphill, so I hope this one will suit me better.”
