Biathlon Canada has confirmed its national biathlon program teams for the 2026/2027 training season.

Biathlon Canada has confirmed its national biathlon program teams for the 2026/2027 training season.

According to a press release from Biathlon Canada, Canada’s biathletes are ready to hit the start line for the beginning of a new Olympic journey towards France 2030. 

“Biathlon Canada has officially named the athletes selected to the 2026–27 National Biathlon Program, featuring a talented mix of those with established international experience and a large group of emerging next-generation of biathletes from across the country.

The National Biathlon Program will be led by four Olympic athletes returning to take aim at qualifying for their second Games including: Nadia Moser (Biathlon Yukon – Whitehorse);  Pascale Paradis (Foothills Nordic Ski Club/ Biathlon Alberta Training Centre – Calgary); Shilo Rousseau (Chelsea Nordiq – Thessalon, Ont.); and Jasper Fleming (Sea to Sky Nordics/Whistler Nordic Development Centre – Squamish, B.C.).

The National Biathlon Program also features a group of developing athletes from recognized training environments including the Biathlon Alberta Training Centre, Whistler Nordic Development Centre, Rocky Mountain Racers, and Sovereign Lake Nordic Development Centre, while also recognizing athletes training through their home clubs and communities.”
