The Roller Ski Junior World Championships continued this Friday in Madona, Latvia, with team sprint freestyle races for junior women and junior men.

Madona Roller Ski Junior World Championships: team sprint junior women’s race

Norway (Emilie Ruud Lia, Mille Sophie Aarnes) took first place in the junior women’s team sprint freestyle race with a total time of 22:51.76. 

Sweden (Lisa Alrik, Matilda Grahn) snagged second place, 11.8 seconds behind the winner, and Estonia (Anett Liisa Parts, Herta Rajas) completed the podium in third place, 15.17 seconds back.

Sweden (Theo Malm, Ville Jutterdal) took home first place in the junior men’s team sprint freestyle race, crossing the line in a total time of 19:47.79. 

Norway (Jonas Torp, Mattis Hansen) snagged second place, 5.48 seconds back, and Slovenia (Jaka Berdajs, Tine Sporn) completed the podium in third place, 9.60 seconds behind the winner.
