Team Aktiv mot kreft has presented its Pro Team squad for the Ski Classics World Championship Season XVIII.

The Norwegian Pro Team, Team Aktiv mot kreft (Team Active against cancer), will field seven athletes for the 2026/2027 season, three women and four men, according to a post on social media.

On the women’s side, Hanna Hansen, Madelene Nord, and Camilla Brørs will represent the team in Season XVIII.

The men’s lineup retains the founding duo of Halfdan Baumann and Erling Owren, who launched the project together, with Erik Ola Jorde and Halvor Bade also continuing from last season.

Team Aktiv mot kreft was born from a November night at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), where Baumann and Owren envisioned a team that would unite elite long-distance skiing with a social cause. Through their partnership with the foundation Aktiv mot kreft (Active against cancer), the team works to inspire cancer patients to embrace physical activity as part of treatment and recovery. The foundation was established by Grete Waitz and Helle Aanesen in 2007.

The Pro Team finished the Ski Classics World Championship Season XVII in 23rd place in the Pro Team Competition with 328 points.
