The Ski Classics Challengers event, Blåvegenløpet, took place this Saturday with a 50km long-distance skiing race in classic technique in Mo I Rana, Norway. Check out the results.

The Ski Classics Challengers event, Blåvegenløpet, took place this Saturday with a 50km long-distance skiing race in classic technique in Mo I Rana, Norway. Check out the results.

After a day full of action, the Ski Classics Challengers event in Norway, Blåvegenløpet, saw a fierce fight for the podium places. Anders Aukland, Team Ragde Charge, and Benedicte Stien Schreiner, Skonseng UL, won their respective races with solid performances.

Blåvegenløpet – 50km Men’s Race 

In the men’s competition, Anders Aukland of Team Ragde Charge won with a total time of 2:14:08.0.

Vegard Veisetaune, Tverlandet IL, finished in second place, 4:12.0 back, followed by Sigurd Aarthun, Åga IL, 4:16.0 behind the winner, and completing the podium in third place.

  1. Anders Aukland, Team Ragde Charge, 2:14:08.0
  2. Vegard Veisetaune, Tverlandet IL, +4:12.0
  3. Sigurd Aarthun, Åga IL, +4:16.0

Blåvegenløpet – 50km Women’s Race

In the women’s event, the winner, Benedicte Stien Schreiner, Skonseng UL, completed the race in a time of 2:31:49.0.

Mari Brox, Sømna IL, finished in second place, 14:09.0 behind, followed by Solveig Rogstad, completing the podium in third position and 23:12.0 back.

As the 50km race is a Ski Classics Challengers event, Pro Team registered athletes could collect points for the Ski Classics Champion and Youth competitions in their respective genders.
