The upcoming stages of the cross-country skiing World Cup season 2023/2024 start in Canmore (CAN) and Minneapolis (USA). The Finnish national team is now presented.

Canmore, Canada, is the place for the next stage of this year’s cross-country skiing World Cup. The Canmore World Cup starts on Friday, February 9, with a 10km interval start race in freestyle technique, followed by a sprint race in freestyle technique on Saturday, February 10, then a 20km mass start race in classic technique on Sunday, February 11, and a sprint race in classic technique on Tuesday, February 13.

After Canmore, it’s time for the Minneapolis World Cup, starting on Saturday, February 17, with a sprint race in freestyle technique and ending with a 10km interval start race in freestyle technique on Sunday, February 18, 2024

In a press release, the Finnish Ski Association has named their cross-country ski team for the upcoming World Cups in Canmore and Minneapolis. Finland will start with 10 athletes. On the women’s side, France will start with 5 skiers. Already on the men’s side, 5 athletes will start for the Scandinavian country.
