The Norwegian Ski Association has named the cross-country skiers for their Team ELON Oslofjord for the season 2025/2026. 

According to a press release from the Norwegian Ski Association, the 13 cross-country skiers selected will be part of the Team ELON Oslofjord for the upcoming season.

“We’ve had a fantastic season with great progress for many athletes. In the upcoming season, we can offer a strong team, with a solid training environment and, not least, a strong coach for 13 motivated athletes. Most likely, this is the largest Elon team ever, which reflects the depth of talented cross-country skiers in our ski districts,” says the head of the management group for Team ELON Oslofjord, Kjetil Olsen.

The athletes from Team ELON Oslofjord come from the Oslo, Akershus, Østfold, Vestfold, and Telemark ski districts.

“The team consists of young athletes with great development potential. At the same time, we have experienced athletes like Edvard Sandvik, who comes from the national recruit team. He can share his experience with younger athletes such as Milla Grossberghaugen Andreassen and Sander Haukvik Jensen. This will be a solid combination that we believe will benefit both the youngest and the more experienced skiers,” says coach Ånund Lid Byggland.
