Switzerland’s Team to Tour De Ski

The Swiss Ski Federation has named 19 athletes for the Tour de Ski, the last one for the multi-champion Dario Cologna.

The Swiss Ski Federation has named 19 athletes for the Tour de Ski, the last one for the multi-champion Dario Cologna.


Dario Cologna will lead the Swiss Team at the upcoming Tour de Ski. Set to retire after the 2021/2022 season, the challenging stage race will be the last Tour de Ski of his career.

Tour de Ski takes place from December 28th to January 4th. The first stage is a skate sprint race in Lenzerheide, Switzerland. The final stage is the traditional Alpe Cermis hill climb in Val di Fiemme, Italy. Check out the full Tour de Ski schedule and details.

These are the Swiss cross-country skiers racing the 2021/2022 Tour de Ski:

  • Janik Riebli
  • Valerio Grond
  • Erwan Käser
  • Jovian Hediger

Alina Meier, Lea Fischer, Roman Schaad, Janik Riebli and Valerio Grond will only race the Lenzerheide Sprint. 

Désirée Steiner will only race the two Lenzerheide events.
