The cross-country World Cup season 2025/2026 continued today in Ruka, Finland, with a 20km mass start race in freestyle technique for women and men. Below are the women’s results.

Jonna Sundling (SWE) dominated the women’s 20km mass start race in freestyle technique at the World Cup in Ruka, delivering a strong performance to secure the victory. Full results from the event are listed below.

Jonna Sundling (SWE) took home first place today in the women’s 20km mass start race with a time of 50:24.9.

Jessie Diggins (USA) finished second, 2.3 seconds back, while Heidi Weng (NOR) rounded out the podium in third place, 2.8 seconds behind the winner.

  • 10:00 CET: 20km Mass Start F, Men
  • 11:45 CET: 20km Mass Start F, Women

After Ruka, the World Cup heads to Norway (Trondheim). Then, to Switzerland (Davos) and the Tour de Ski (Italy). This period is followed by competitions in January in Germany (Oberhof) and Switzerland (Goms).

Then, it’s time for the Milano-Cortina Winter Olympic Games from February 7 to 22, 2026.

After Milano-Cortina, the World Cup ends the season with weekends in Sweden (Falun), Finland (Lahti), Norway (Drammen-Oslo), and the USA (Lake Placid).
